Day 272  May 4  2015 On a plane between Paris and Johannesburg

We left the hotel at 11 pm and stopped to wash the car we had leased for the first time in 45 days.  We had to return it relatively clean or face an 80 euro cleaning bill.  The car had a dent on the front fender and a scratch on the rear fender from a parking lot.  We had also lost one of the keys (left it at a gas station in Greece). There were no problems or hassles when we returned the car, the short term lease was a great way to get a vehicle for Europe.  We arrived at the airport at 2:30 pm and got our boarding passes at 3:15 pm.  We were expecting to be flying by 6:15 but our plane was delayed by 40 minutes.
