Day 181
Feb 1 2015 Hue Vietnam
Other than the train employees trying to scam
us the rest of the trip was uneventful;
however the Vietnam train is not near as comfortable as the trains in Thailand. We arrived in Hue at 9 am and took a taxi to
our hotel. Once we had showers we went
for a walk to the Citadel and the Imperial City which used to contain the
Forbidden Purple City which used to house various emperors concubines, maids
and eunuchs. Much of the Imperial City
was destroyed in the Vietnam war.
