Day 187
Feb 7 2015 Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam
We spent the day at the Saigon Zoo and
Botanical Garden. The botanical gardens
and grounds were nice; however the zoo was not.
The cages are small, the elephants are showing stress behavior, the big
cats are in concrete pens, the eagles did not have proper room to stretch out their
wings. It is the only zoo of the trip
that David wanted to leave as it “was the only zoo to make me feel sad”. After the zoo we walked back to the hotel
with a stop for lunch on the way.
