Day 190
Feb 10 2015 Chau Doc Vietnam
Breakfast was served at a very early 6:30
am. We then were taken by boat to Cai
Rang Floating Market. The market is
where the wholesalers bring fruits and vegetable in larger boats and many
vendors buy the produce to sell in their stores. The second stop of the tour was at an orchard
where we were served fruits that were in season. We then took an hour boat ride back to the
hotel where our bus was waiting. We then
got on the bus for a 150 km trip that took 4 hours. Part of the bus trip included crossing the Mekong
River on a ferry. The bus was driven on
the ferry and everybody remained in the bus for the crossing.
