Day 119 Nov 30 2014 La Paz Boliva

They looked like a couple of  big hamsters

Day 119  Nov 30 2014  La Paz Boliva

We went to the Witches Market which is described on the web as being interesting.  I was rather disappointed with it as I did not find it to be much different than most markets that you can find in most countries in Latin America.  The exception might be the dried lama fetuses that you probably won’t find in other places.   We did buy a couple of alpaca products for Christmas presents that we have to send back to Canada.  We booked our flight to Kuala Lampur for the 11th of Dec at 11:55 pm.  We chose that date as the price of the air tickets increased by over 1000 dollars each if we flew after on 12th or latter.  As a result we decided that we would have to skip the salt flats of Uyuni and get to Iguazu Falls so we booked a flight for the 1st of Dec to Puerto Iguazu.  In the evening we went to the movies and also let the kids play in the amusement park in the mall.   There was a plastic floating squirrel cage that they got into and played.  They loved it and were begging to go back to the mall the next day.
